The influence of concrete creep on the prestressed concrete cylindrical oil tank is analyzed in both theoretical and practical aspects. The formula for calculating the prestress loss is presented for the prestressed concrete cylindrical oil tank. The results provide some reference for the design of prestressed concrete structures.
