社会主义现实主义作为一种具有国际性影响的文学现象,它是20世纪最主要的文学现象之一;作为一种创作方法,它是前苏联文学的旗帜和标志,对于前苏联文学的盛衰枯荣发挥了举足轻重的作用。但是,随着苏联的解体,社会主义现实主义受到的责难远比得到的肯定要多。因此,很有必要在探讨社会主义现实主义的发展道路、理论贡献及其缺失的基础上对社会主义现实主义进行再认识。

As a literary phenomenon with international influence,socialist realisim is one of the most important literary phenomena in the 20th century.As an artistic technique, it was the symbol of the former Soviet Union,socialist realism has received much more censure than approval. Therefore,it is necessary to make recognition to socialist realism on the basis of discussing the developing road, theory contribution and flaw of it.
