Effect of mycoplasma urealytium and chlamydia trachomatis infections on male infertility

目的:通过深入到增城地区对各乡镇永久居民中不孕不育夫妇的流行病学调查,了解生殖道解脲支原体和沙眼衣原体感染对不孕不育的影响。方法:对427对不育夫妇进行不育症流行病学调查以及相关检查化验,并将之与175对已生育夫妇的相关资料对比,从中分析解脲支原体感染和沙眼衣原体对男性生育的影响。结果:在不育组中,解脲支原体感染率具有显著性增高;其他某些与生育有关的病理改变,两组亦有显著性差异。结论:解脲支原体感染可以引起男性不育。

Objective： To evaluate the sequelae of mycoplasma and chlamydia infections on male infertility in the area of Zengcheng in Guangzhou.Method： A total of 427 infertile couples were analyzed as study group, and 175 fertilized couples were randomly selected as the control group.Results：There were significant differences of antisperm antibodies and the qualities of semen as well as the rate of mycoplasma infection with prostatitis in the study group between which in the control group. Conclusions： Mycoplasma infections in genital tract may exert a negative influence on male fertility.
