In process of setting up harmonious society, this paper explores the problem of how to embody the spirit of making people the first in library work, and how to make fully use of the library＇ s superior cultural and educational conditions to care for the readers and provide innovated services for readers in the library. Exerting the function of library in constructing harmonious society and creating a humanity study environment for the library readers is proposed.
