褐煤属低热值煤,现多以直接燃烧方式,褐煤的加工利用还具有一定的局限性,还没有完全开发利用。我国褐煤储量较大,产地也比较集中。在辽宁的沈北地区也有一定储量的褐煤,其中大部分是低灰、低硫煤,若采用现代合理加工,其用途是很广泛的,所得到的经济效果也是非常可观的。

Brown coal is low calorific value coal. Now most of such coal is borne directly, its processing and utilization have certain limitation and hash＇ t been fully developed and utilized. Our country has a large amount of reserves of brown coal and producing area is centralized. There are acertain reserves of brown coal in northern area of Shenyang, Liaoning Province, and most of it is low - ash and low - sulphur coal. If modem and reasonable processing methods are adopted,its use will be wider and the economic effect achieved will be more considerable.
