This paper presents a new type selvage alignment control for fabric winding. The system empolys a microcomputer controlled and step-motor driven adjustment mechanism and a new misrocomputer control algorithm, thus solving the problems of large inertia and low precision in the traditional system. Therefore, more saftisfactory results are obtained in its practical applications.
