最近几年才对外开放的俄罗斯国家航空系统研究院(GosNIIAS),在航空技术发展中起着举足轻重的作用,被俄罗斯当局定为国家级研究院。该院创建于1946年,总部设在莫斯科,几个分部设在别洛焦尔斯克。目前,GosNIIAS有5940名员工,其中具有博士、硕士和学士学位的人员分别占18％、57％和10％,其余15％是技术工人。

Russian State Research Institute of Aviation Systems (GosNIIAS) is a leading Russian aviation industry research center . For years GosNIIAS has been carrying out research in the following areas : 1 ) Airborne system certification testing; 2) Advanced airborne weapon systems concept definition ;3) The fields of information technologies application ; 4 ) Air Traffic Control. GosNIIAS employs state of the art technologies and tools . Many of inhouse-developed systems are unique. They include computer-aided design and engineering (CAD/CAE) system , flying testbed and ground testing facilities . GosNIIAS is headquartered in Moscow with subsidiaries in Belozyorsk . It has 5940 employees .
