摘要
一种新发动机定型投产以后,一般有30~40年使用寿命期。在此期间,在使用中会出现研制中没有暴露和估计到的问题,就要进行修正和完善,使它更好地适应实际使用环境;或者,为了开辟新的用途或提高性能、可靠性和耐久性,运用新技术不断对发动机进行改进。使用发展是针对已经定型投产和正在使用中的发动机所做的工程支持和发展工作,是发动机寿命期的最后一个阶段,其属性与工程研制相同。在我国。
In this paper the roles of operational development of aeroengines are described in improving the performance, reliability, durability and maintainability as well as in extending application . The merits and demeritsof operational development in comparison with the engineering development of new engine are also outlined in terms of technological progress and development cost and risk . Finally the management considerations in the operational development are proposed .
