Recently, learner autonomy has been so hot an issue in Chinese ELT profession that has spawned a number of papers and books in publication. This paper, based on a thorough review of theories and practices of learner autonomy, explores the methods and techniques of incorporating information technology with strategy training to better cultivate autonomous learning of English among young college students.
