About Liling Poets in Hunan Province of the South Society

湘籍南社诗人以醴陵人为主,宁调元、傅熊湘以及醴陵三刘对南社的发展作有一定的贡献。他们的诗学与诗创作也取得较大成就。成立于上世纪20年代的南社湘集为保持传统诗文的地位,与新南社针锋相对,对过激的文学主张未尝不是一味清凉剂。

Poets in the South Society of Hunan Province were mainly from Liling, such as Ning Diaoyuan, Fu Xiongxing, and the three Lius of Liling, who made certain contributions to the development of the poetic society. Their poetic studying and creation also achieved a lot of success.
