根据国家农业开发办拟将我省药湖地区列为重点农业综合开发项目的精神和要求，江西省水利、农业、林业、土地管理、卫生血防、开发办等各有关部门对药湖地区进行了深入调查研究和可行性论证工作，并对该项目进行综合性的合理规划．该项目采取开发与治理相结合，从改善水利和农业基础设施入手，改善农业生产条件，实行山、水、田、林、路、血防等综合治理，把药湖地区建设成为国家级的高产、优质、高效农业商品生产和供应基地．项目总投资４９３００万元，计划分５年实施，１９９５年开始建设．

From improving the fundamental appratus of water resources and agriculture, improving agriculture condition, take synthetically the management such as mountain, water, field, frest, road, blood fluke prevention, we construct the Yaohu region to become the couuntry's high quantity,superior, high effective agriculture production for merchandise and supply base. The item total investment is 493 000 000 yuan. The item will operate for 5 years, and begin to construct from 1995.
