试论高校英语教师加强“双文化”意识的必要性

On the Necessities of Reinforcing Bi-cultural Awareness of the EFL Teachers

高校英语教师应使语言教学与文化教学并重。高校英语教师的能力水平不能仅仅局限于“双语”的层面上,更要延伸至“双文化”的高度。本文拟就高校英语教师加强“双文化”意识的必要性做一些探讨,以进一步推动我国高校英语教学的研究,并对英语教师的发展有所指导。

Languages teaching should be the combination of the linguistic teaching and culture teaching. The teaching competence of the EFL teachers should not be limited in the stage of ＂bi -linguistics ＂ ,but beyond the height of ＂bi -cultural ＂. The paper plans to explore the necessities of strengthening the bi - cultural awareness of the EFL teachers in English teaching , with the purpose of promoting the English teaching research in China and offering some help to the EFL teachers＇ development.
