In Jiaguwen, inscriptions on bones or tortoise shells of the Shang Dynasty ( 16th-11th century B.C. ), the Chinese character “去”was made up of two parts, the upper one “大” and the lower one “口”“去”originally means “to leave”, “大”means “one is leaving”, and “ 口” means “the other one is saying goodbye to the one who's leaving”. According to Shuo Wen, an ancient Chinese book on Chinese language studies, the character“去”changed its form in xiaozhuan, a kind of Chinese calligraphy in Qin Dynasty.
