Before 9.11 terrorist attack, Central Asia was not the focal point in the American diplomacy, while we witnessed the abrupt rise of the position occupied by Central Asia, but also has global strategic significance. The Iraq War has forced America to extend its battle front longer and longer. Thus, the resurgence of terrorism in Central Asia and so-called "democratic reform" and "color revolution", actively supported by the Bush Administration, have also forced the United States to reorient its Central Asia policy, which is confronted with severe challenges.
