文章采用目前在音乐界流行的萨-霍分类体系,通过对西方古代管乐器的简述,认为在对该时期的乐器分类还应细化,才能正确体现西方古代管乐器的材料特点。

The classification system of Saches-Hornbostel is well known in the music field nowadays. Through to introduction of the Western archaic wind instrument, the writer held that to classify the instrument in that period should be subdivided in details, than it could show precisely the features of materials that inade of the Western archaic wind instruments.
