From Eco-system Theory to the Planning of Eco-industrial Park

摘要 分析生态系统论在城市系统的应用,并进一 步介绍可操作的规划方法如生态工程、蒋生 式设计以及工业生态学。以新加坡裕廊岛的 生态工业园区规划操作为例,介绍如何在这 个以石化工业为基础的基地环境上,整合景 观生态学与工业生态学两种方法:一方面应 用景观生态原则中的景观单元规划,如廊道 或班块与生态踏脚石系统,将工业生产过程 放置在实质环境脉络中;另一方面利用工业 生态学中产业单元之间的物质与能源流动的 共生网络,来键结物质与能源流动中的回路 缺口。 The paper introduces the trend that the ecological thinking is moving toward the domain of urban environment and its spatial dimension. Using general system theory and ecosystem theory as the starting point, the application to urban system was explored. Furthermore, some operational approaches of ecological planning were examined, including ecological engineering, regenerative design and industrial ecology. The new area industrial ecology has extended from the narrowly defined and technology-oriented cleaner production to the whole human life support system. It concerns the rearticulation of the industrial system and the natural eco-system for redefining a new industrial ecosystem. Based on a planning case study of eco industrial park on Singapore's Jurong Island, we introduced how both landscape ecology and industrial ecology can be integrated and applied to the site environment of petrochemical industry. On the one hand, the landscape ecological principle was applied to the analysis, which places the industrial production process to a context of physical environment. On the other hand, a network of industrial symbiosis among different industrial components was created for enclosing the loop of the material and energy flows. Through the review of ecological theories and case studies, the article intends to extend the spatial dimension and landscape perspective of industrial ecology.
