The Obscurantist Policy Pursued by Japanese Militarism During the Second World War and Its Influence on Japanese National Sense

对于战争的思考,首先涉及的便是战争的原动力的问题。20世纪30、40年代,日本之所以能够发动那样一场旷日持久的、非正义的侵华战争,是与日本国内民众的倾力支持分不开的,而这又是由于日本政府长期推行军国主义愚民政策的结果。

The motivation of war is the first issue of concern in view of a war. In 1930s and 1940s,the reason that Japan was able to conduct a protracted invasion war against China was that Japanese people gave a lot of support,which in turn was the result of long-termed obscurantist policy pursued by the Japanese government.
