Changes of Liberalism of Empiricism From the 17th to 19th Century

从17世纪到19世纪,经验主义的自由主义发生了重大的变化。主要表现在两个方面:(1)理论形态发生了变化,即从自然状态、社会契约的论证方式到功利主义的论证方式。(2)自由主义的内容与实质发生了变化,即从政治自由主义到经济自由主义和社会自由主义的变化。

This paper holds that liberalism of empiricism has changed tremendously within the 200-year period from the 17th to 19th century. The changes are manifested in two aspects-methods of theoretical arguments, which are changed from those of the state of nature and the social contract to that of utilitarianism, and the contents and essence of liberalism which are from political liberalism to economic and social liberalism.
