Application of information technology increases forestry production and management efficiency; it is one of the most important resorts to actualize digital forestry and to lead forestry to a brand-new period.In this text, Forestry Resources Information Management System of Zhuhai City is taken as an example, and it introduces the method, technology and specialty of adopting GIS, RS and database to establish forestry resources information management system.In the mean time ,it analyses ways of application in forestry information management filing system,special analysis,forestry resources research, management and monitoring.This system makes forestry information management system and ecology monitoring of Zhuhai City to be possible, and it brings forestry management of Zhuhai City to a new stage of Dynamic Tracking Management.
