摘要
密集波分复用(DWDM)技术的发展为光网络带来了新的应用前景,它是高带宽需求最好的解决方法之一。本文给出了光突发交换和波长路由两种技术的基本特征,并讨论了每个实现机制的优缺点,提出了融合这两种技术以克服使用单一方式的限制的新结构。
The development of DWDM opens a new horizon in optical networks and promises to be one of the best solutions for the high demand of the bandwidth. This paper presents a brief description of Optical Burst Switching (OBS) and Wavelength Routing (WR) and then discusses the advantages and disadvantages of each scheme. It also proposes a new architecture that uses both methods in order to overcome the limitations imposed by each approach.
