摘要
涉外公证书汉译英的主要目的是使公证书的使用国对被公证人的法律文件予以法定承认。在翻译这类文书时,译者必须在语言上做到准确严密,在文体上做到庄重得体,在程式上做到地道规范。
The purpose of translating notarial deeds is for the notarized documents to be acknowledged in the Target Language. For that, the translator must ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of the translated texts in diction, style and genre.
