摘要
礼仪祝辞属于“演辞式话语”,它在口译中最为常见,最能体现译员的口译水平。本文采用“思维报告法”追踪研究一篇“圣诞祝辞”的口译过程,即让被试者做完口译后,口述或写出他们当时的想法和思维过程,同时也借鉴“黑箱法”,即分析学生的口译失误。通过以上方法,总结归纳礼仪祝辞口译教学中学生常见的典型错误:望文生义,词汇贫乏,句型单一等。分析其错误的原因:对祝辞的语言特点认识不清,形象思维对具像思维的影响较重,能够达到脱口而出的“套话”掌握得少等。最后介绍几种训练方法。
The interpreting of ceremonial speeches is the most common and yet most important as well for an interpreter. In the present study, interpreters were asked to verbalize their thoughts while interpreting a Christmas speech. Besides, interpretation errors were also identified through observations by the researcher. It was found that some of the typical mistakes made by students included misunderstanding and little vocabulary and variation in expression. We suspect one of the reasons might be that students were generally not familiar with some of the often-used sentence patterns for ceremonial speeches. To conclude, ways to solve these problems were recommended for readers' reference.
