Theoretic basis of treating skeletal fluorosis with traditional Chinese medicine

本文阐述了中医治疗氟骨症的理论基础,可以按痹症进行辨证施治。辨病因、辨病位、辨症状,可分别采用温通经络法、疏肌解表法、祛湿疏筋法、温肾健骨法、清热解毒法、消痰逐瘀法、虫类搜剔法等。可一法单独使用,也可两法或数法合用,要结合症情的缓急,寒热的微甚、瘀闭的轻重、脏腑的虚实,正确运用之,方可提高疗效。

This paper described the theoretic basis of treating skeletal fluorosis by using traditional Chinese medicine.Skeletal fluorosis could be diagnozed and treated based on overall analysis of symptoms and signs,the cause,nature and location of arthralgia-syndrome,and the patient's physical condition.The treating methods included promoting the flow of qi by warming the channel,dispelling muscles and re- lieving exterior syndrome,elminating dampness and relaxing tendons,warming the kidney and strength- ening the bone,clearing away heat and toxic material,clearing phlegm and removing blood stasis,arrest- ing and expelling vermin,and so on.The methods described above could be used independently or joint- ly.The treatment should consider symptom complex,cold and heat,build stasis,and viscera.Only the methods were correctly used,could the treating effect be improved.
