F· Scott Fitzgerald was one of the typical American writers in the early 20th century. Among his four novels and many short stories, the most perfect one is kwown as The Great Gatsby. Many literary critics were once attracted by his unique artistic style and writing technique. The aim of this paper is to discuss, in the novel The Great Gatsby, the author how to apply the Dual Hero technique to convey his literary viewpoints.
