On the Right of Privacy

隐私权作为一项人格权,起步较晚。但随着社会的发展及时代的进步,隐私权日益引起人们的重视,它与知情权的冲突也越来越多。隐私权与知情权的冲突主要表现在公权利和私权利之间的矛盾。对隐私权的保护应该遵循向社会公共利益倾斜的原则,平衡利益、知情同意的原则等。

As a right of personality, the right of privacy appeared late. But with the development of society and the progress of times, people attach more importance to the right of privacy. And the conflicts between the right of privacy and the right to know about things become more and more. Most of the conflicts take place between public right and personal right. So in order to protect the right of privacy, we should obey the principles of inclining to public interests and equilibrating interests and approval after making it clear.
