摘要
上海是近代中国典型的移民城市。其之所以能形成,关键在于上海租界在近代中国特殊环境下所具有的独特功能。依据相关史料,考察租界的“孤岛”效应、“蓄水池”效应两个方面,可增进对租界及上海崛起历程的认识。
Shanghai was a typical immigrant city in modem china. The main cause why it came into being lied in the particular function of shanghai＇ s concession under modem China＇ s special circumstances. Surveying the two aspects of “Island” effect and “Reservoir” effect of shanghai＇ s concession, can enrich the understanding of concession and shanghai＇ s developing process.
