随着地理信息系统(GIS)技术在各个应用领域的推广应用,GIS技术与地理空间信息的表示、处理、分析方法和应用手段的不断发展紧密相关,形成了各种不同功能的GIS系统。介绍了珠海—中山天然气管道工程建设数字管道的地理信息系统建设方案,阐述了主要建设原则、系统功能、系统特点以及系统的软、硬件平台和体系结构。

The geographic information system(GIS )technology is correlative with the development of description,management,analysis methods and application of geographic space information. Various kinds of geographic information system with the different function have been developed. The construction scheme of GIS for the Zhuhai-Zhongshan gas transportation pipeline project is introduced. The construction principle,the function and characteristics of GIS as well as the hardware and software platform and configuration of the system are described.
