含中药两面针提取液牙膏对牙菌斑和牙龈炎的观察

Clinical Observation of Toothpaste Containing Zanthoxylum Nitidum Extract on Dental Plaque and Gingivitis

目的观察含2%中药两面针提取液的牙膏在减少成年人牙菌斑积聚和牙龈炎形成方面的效果。方法采用双盲、分层、平行的研究方法,对200名健康成年人(试验组100名,对照组100名)于试验前、试验后3个月、6个月分3次对受试对象的牙菌斑与牙龈炎状况进行了观察。结果试验3、6个月,试验组牙膏与对照组牙膏比较牙菌斑指数分别减少9.1%(P>0.05)、13.9%(P<0.05);牙龈炎指数分别降低18.7%、22.6%(P<0.05)。结论含中药两面针提取液的牙膏能显著减少牙菌斑数和改善牙龈健康。

Objective： To observe the clinical efficacy of drug toothpaste containing 2% Zanthoxylum Nitidum extract in reducing accumulation of dental plaque and occurrence of gingivitis in adults. Methods Adopting double-blind, stratified and parallel design, the status of dental plaque and gingivitis in 200 healthy adults enrolled in the trial （100 in the treated group took the drug toothpaste to clean teeth, and 100 in the control group use common toothpaste instead） were assessed at before experiment, 3 months and 6 months after experiment. Results At the end of the 3rd month and the 6th month, as compared with the control group, the L e-Silness Gingival Index （GI） in the treated group was decreased by 9.1% （ P 〉0.05） and 13.9 % （ P〉0.5）, in the same period, the Quigley-Hein（Turesky Modification）Plaque Index （PⅡ） decreased by 18.7 % and 22.6 % （P〈0.05）, respectively. Conclusion Toothpaste containing Zanthoxylum Nitidum extract can obviously decrease the incidence of dental plaque and enhance gingival health.
