9月16日，Regal首家专卖店在上海落成。始创于1902年的日本Regal集团是一家致力于男女鞋制作及营销的大型国际鞋业公司。2004年4月-2005年3月的这一年度里，其营业额为371亿日元。该品牌在日本享有极高的声誉，并深受时尚精英人士的宠爱。在Regal发展的一百多年中，该集团公司不仅设立了自己的制造工厂，更在引进其他发达国家制鞋技术的同时，参与了多个国际品牌的制作及销售。

On September 16, Regal set its first boutique in Snanghai. Founded in 1902, the Japanese Regal Group specializes in large scale manufacturing and global marketing of men and women shoes. Its total revenue within just 1 year from April 2004 to March 2005 was 37.1 billion Yen. In Japan, Regal enjoys a high reputation and is fondly loved by the cream of the crop in the fashion industry. In its 100 years of development, Regal has advanced from setting up its own manufacturing plants, to collaborating with many international brands with its own manufacturing and marketing skills, while in the process, tapping and importing shoe-making technology from the developed countries.
