摘要
传统的以应对考试为教学重点的教学模式所培养出的学生已不能适应和满足社会的需求。要想激发学生英语学习兴趣,培养其自主学习的习惯和能力,必须从改革旧的课堂教学模式开始。接受美学这一理论为我们改变课堂上由教师讲解课本的单一局面,提倡学生更多地参与实践,寻找教学模式新的突破口提供了理论依据。运用这一理论指导课堂教学,并与传统的教学模式进行对比,发现在此理论框架下实施的新的教学方法在激励学生的学习动机,加强其自主学习意识,全面提高其综合能力等方面有着传统教学法无法比拟的效果。
With the development of the society, the traditional test-oriented teaching approach can't adapt the students to the requirements of the society. Therefore it's quite necessary that the outdated teaching mode be reformed, which aims at stimulating the students' interest in English learning and developing their automatic learning capability. Reader-reception aesthetics is a methodology adopted in literature criticism, which claims that literary text is an evocative structure filled with indeterminacy and gaps. According to this methodology, the reader is viewed as an active as well as an indispensable participant who concretizes those indeterminacy and gaps in the process of his individual reading. The content of the theory can serve as the guiding principle to reform the invariably teacher- dominated class situation, and create more opportunities to get the students involved in the class participation.
