A Study on the Relationship Between Language Learners’ Self-Efficacy and Learning Strategies

摘要 该研究综合考查了外语学习者自我效能与学习策略之间的关系,结果发现:1)学习者自我效能和学习策略呈显著正相关;2)高自我效能组倾向于使用元认知和记忆策略,低自我效能组倾向于使用情感和元认知策略;高自我效能组各项策略使用均强于相对应的低自我效能组;3)学科的策略选择差异性显著;学科和性别在自我效能水平上均差异显著. This study synthetically observes the relationship between language learners' self-efficacy and learning strategies. The results show: 1) A significant positive relation between learners' self-efficacy and learning strategies is identified; 2) High self-efficacy learners tend to choose metacognitive and memory strategies, while low self-efficacy learners tend to choose affective and metacognitive strategies; high self- efficacy learners make better use of strategies in each category than corresponding low efficacy learners; 3) There is a significant difference on the strategies use in terms of subject; learners' self-efficacy level is clearly identified both in terms of subject and gender.
