Summary of Aristotle's Virtue Ethics

从当代的视野重新解读亚里士多德的美德伦理学,仍然可以看出他的美德伦理学是较为完备和系统的。他关于至善是一切实践理性思考的最终目的的思想,他关于美德或出自美德的德行构成至善或幸福的思想,他的美德“中道说”,他关于实践智慧的作用的思想,他关于一个行动是合乎美德的,仅当它源自行动者出于美德自身理由而选择的理想的思想,以及他关于美德教育的思想,今天依然是我们研究和发展美德伦理学的重要平台。

This paper tries to renew an interpretation and evaluation on Aristotle's virtue ethics. According to the author, up to now, Aristotle's virtue ethics is still a perfect and systematic virtue ethics. According to Aristotle, kindness is the destination of all rational practice, virtue forms the kindness or happiness; his “doctrine of golden mean” towards virtue, the function to achieve wisdom, his theory that all behaviour is of virtue and that its choice comes from the ideal of the chooser's because of virtue, as well as his ideology about the education of virtue, all these still provide us a vital platform to study and develop virtue ethics.
