Bi-and Eu-Doped Y_2O_3 Phosphors for Ultraviolet Light Emitting Diodes

摘要 The bismuth and europium activated Y2O3 red phosphors and were investigated their structure and optical properties. Adding bismuth ions enhance the energy absorption between 300 nm and 400 nm of Eu-doped Y2O3 excitation spectra. The reason may be the energy transfer from bismuth to europium ions.
