摘要
中国的教育现代化虽说已走过了一百年的历程,并在一定程度上实现了物质层面和制度层面的现代化,但中国教育现代化的任务并未实现。理性的缺失是制约中国教育现代化顺利进行的主要障碍。理性的缺失主要有两种表现:一是民族中心主义作祟,二是科学精神缺失。中国教育现代化不能仅停留在物质和技术层面,而更应关注现代人理性的培养和重建。
The process of Chinese educational modernization has lasted a century long, and has taken effect at certain levels, but the dream of the real modernization has not yet come true. The writer of the paper presumes that the major obstruction is the deficiency of rationality in relation to the nationalism and deficiency of scientific spiritualism. The paper concludes that Chinese education is to concern about the materialism and technology, and the development and reconstruction of the rationality, as well.
