The Direct Evidence about Tectonic Boundary between Sanya Terrain and Qiongzhong Terrain

三亚地体与琼中地体之间的构造边界一直没有发现其他任何直接的地质证据。调查发现,这两个不同的构造地质体被一条大型的九所-陵水韧性剪切带所分割,其中记录了三亚地体拼贴于琼中地体之上的动力学过程的信息。这条韧性剪切带无疑是琼中地体与三亚地体对接带的直接构造记录。这项新发现对海南岛大地构造格局的建立具有重要意义。

There has no direct evidence about tectonic boundary between Qiongzhong terrain and Sanya terrain in Hainan island. Based on the investigation, the Jiusuo-Lingshui ductile shear zone between Qiongzhong terrain and Sanya terrain has been discovered, in which records some important information about the dynamic evolution process between Qiongzhong terrain and Sanya terrain, it is obvious that this ductile shear zone is the direct tectonic boundary of between Qiongzhong terrain and Sanya terrain. The discovery has important significance for building the tectonic framework of Hainan island.
