Analysis on the Spirit Connotations of Terraced Fields

梯田开发在我国具有悠久的历史。梯田精神内涵主要有五个方面:对理想社会的向往和幸福生活的追求;与自然和谐相处、共同发展的追求;自力更生、艰苦奋斗的精神;团结协作、自强不息的精神;尊重自然规律、重视发明创造和先进技术推广应用的科学精神。利用梯田文化促进社会主义精神文明建设。

The development of terraced fields has a long history in our country. There are five points in the spirit connotations of terraced fields ,such as yearning for an ideal society and a happy llfe;for getting along harmoniously with each other and developing together;for the spirit of self- reliance and hard struggle;for the cooperation and hard work;for respecting the law of nature, paying attention to invention and creation, as well as to application and dissemination of advanced technology. The culture of terraced fields is used to promote the socialist construction of ethnic civilization.
