Under the influence of Eastern religious concepts, William Blake has completely subverted the native traditional Christian orthodox doctrines. According to Harold Bloom＇s theory of misreading, he blazes a new trail in his unique poetic style and walks out of the shadow of his predecessor John Milton by adopting an anti - sublime strategy of demonization on the basis of misreading in the spiritually easternized aesthetical eye.
