On the "Red Drama" in the 20th Century

在20世纪中国戏剧史上,党领导下兴起的“红色戏剧”是一个重要的戏剧现象。它经历了苏区红色戏剧、抗 日战争时期红色戏剧和新中国红色戏剧三个阶段,对我国戏剧艺术发展、对革命斗争乃至对党内政治斗争都产生 了极其深远的影响。

over the history of Chinese drama in the 20th century, “red drama” under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, an important drama phenomenon, has undergone three phases： red drama in Chinese Soviet areas during the Second Revolutionary Civil War （1927--1937）, red drama during the Anti-Japanese War （1937--1945） and red drama after the founding the People＇s Republic of China （1949--1976）. Red drama has produced far-reaching effects on the artistic development of Chinese drama, revolutionary struggles and political struggles within the Communist Party of China.
