In her Artificial Nigger, by borrowing the U-Structure from the Bible, Flannery O＇Connor tells about Mr. Head＇s trip to the city with his grandson Nelson so as to expose the process of the fall and redemption of the human soul. In this way, the theme of racial relationship is religiously colored and the story is provided with profound significance of revelation.
