Tracing to the Source of Chinese Emotional Universe View

在中华民族的文化宝库里,自古就有与自然和谐相处的思想,也就是有情宇宙(环境)观。信奉龙神是中国有情宇宙(环境)观的起源;荀子的“天论”思想,代表了人与自然关系的一种理智建构;“天人合一”的思想是对人与自然、社会与自然内在联系的正确认识的结晶。新近发展的生态学证明了中国传统万物有情的宇宙(环境)观的科学价值。

In traditional Chinese culture, there has always been the idea of being in harmony with nature, that is, emotional universe （environment） view. Believing in gods is the source of Chinese emotional universe view. The idea of “On Heaven” by Xunzi represented one rational construction of the relationship between human and nature. The idea of “heaven and man into one” is the result of a sound understanding of the internal relation between human and nature and between society and nature. The scientific value of this traditional Chinese emotional universe view is proved by the newly - developed ecology.
