An Overview of the Western Thoughts on Ethic Relationship Between Man and Nature

近几十年来西方思想界从哲学角度重新审视人与自然的伦理关系。对这个问题的思考,促使了西方现代意义上的生态与环境伦理思想的发展,形成了“人类中心主义”和“自然中心主义”两大流派。本文对其中的各种学说观点做了详细论述和评析,认为在当前现代化建设中,有分析地借鉴西方思想,对创建适合我国国情的人与自然伦理关系理论学说,解决社会可持续发展问题是极有意义的。

Western ideology field has recently re-surveyed the ethic relationship between man and nature from the philosophic viewpoint. It is this re-survey that impels the development ecological and environmental thoughts in the West, forming two main schools of “Human centralism”and“Anthropocen- trism”. This paper intensively introduces and comments on various theories. It is of great significance in todays modernization to draw lessons from the Western thoughts in order to establish an ethics thought on the relationship between man and nature, which is suitable to China, and it is of great significance to solve the problems of sustainable development.
