摘要
本文以日常言语交际中的语用元语言现象为对象,探讨它们的语用指向功能。它们本身不是话语所传递的目标信息,而是一种明示或显性的语用指向,可作为施为用意、信息评述、信息重述等行为的标示语,体现说话人等交际主体的“元”语用意识;从话语理解等信息加工的角度来说,语用元语言现象的出现可向听话人等话语理解者提供明示的语用导向,以减少信息处理时所付出的认知努力。
The present study focuses its attention on the pragmatic metalinguistic phenomena in verbal interaction. It has been found that they are pragmatically motivated although syntactically parenthetical and semantically detachable; they behave as illocutionary force indicators, metapragmatic comment and reformulation indicators, they are thus employed for pragmatic instructions in interaction, reflecting the speaker's pragmatic awareness, and help to save cognitive effort while the utterances are being processed or understood.
