从处理“索银事件”看清代对琉球的政策

Qing Royal Court's Policies to Ryukyu——View it from the Disposal of the Extorting Incident

自明朝洪武五年(1372)中琉两国建立友好关系以来,明清两朝,两国在政治、经济、文化等方面交往频繁。本文拟通过清乾隆二十一年中国册封使抵达琉球册封新国王尚穆时,随封兵役闹事索银及清廷对当事人的严厉处罚,管窥清政府的对外政策。

Since the friendly relationship between Ryukyu and China was set up in the fifth year of Emperor Hongwu＇s Reign during the Ming Dynasty （1372）, there had been frequent contacts between the two countries in politics, economy, culture and so on. In the 21^st year of Emperor Qianlong＇s Reign, when the Chinese Royal Envoy arrived in Ryukyu to confer a title upon the new emperor ShangMu, the related military made a disturbance to extort silver from Ryukyu, which ended up with a severe punishment on the party from Qing Royal Court. This article intends to review the foreign policies of Qing Royal Court through this event.
