The Economic History of Northern China written by Professor Cheng Minsheng takes transformation of economic center as the clue, probes into the development of economic history of the Northern China from Qin and Han times to Ming and Qing dynasties. On the whole, it is a book that not only studys the economy of the Northern China in terms of economic geography, but also investigates the problem of the economic center moving from north to south.
