On School Counsellors’ Participation in Polictical and Ideological Education

高校“两课”教育是对大学生进行思想政治教育的主渠道和主阵地。然而,高校辅导员作为大学生思想政治教育的骨干力量,介入“两课”教育非常必要也非常重要。

the courses in polical and ideological education in universities are the main channel to educate students in politics and ideology. However, they do not prove to be quite effective. Consequently, Reform in the courses are called for. The paper argues the key to the issue is how to reform the teaching of the courses in terms of the teaching staff, teaching materials and teaching mode. Then it advances that school counsellors＇participation is crucial because they are in close contact with students which makes education more individualized and humane. Besides, counsellors＇ involvement will relieve teachers＇ workload.
