Seek My Face, the 20th novel of the American writer John Updike, employs as its basic frame an interview which lasts around 10 hours and narrates the life story of a female artist. Through a depiction of her marital relationship with her three husbands at different times, the tough process of struggle of the protagonist as a professional artist is portrayed and the vivid and reliable artistic image of a female is created between the real and the fictional.
