The Chinese ending “-Hua” long processes of evolution. It is proved that the Chinese ending “-Hua” originates from Japanese language while most of its English counterparts trace back to their Latin origins. Though some representative scholars have made great achievements in this research area from the perspectives of word formation, grammar and translation, there still remain some untouched areas. The further research should be conducted by means of semantics, syntax and pragmatics in order to raise further the level of research on such affixes and their derivatives.
