摘要
目的本文就正畸临床上出现的釉质脱矿问题,对托槽及结扎材料对周围牙面菌斑产酸能力变化的影响进行了研究,初步探讨了固定矫治中菌斑致龋性的变化。方法随机选择23例患者作为受试者。采用随机数字法,在其牙弓一侧使用0.20英寸不锈钢丝结扎,另一侧使用弹力结扎圈结扎。应用离子选择性微电极法测定各时间点牙面菌斑提取液的pH值,并对两种结扎材料下牙面菌斑pH值进行比较。结果固定矫治器粘结后牙面菌斑pH值有极显著的下降(P<0.001),下降的最低值在丝侧牙面为5.98。而在圈侧牙面为5.85,下降幅度分别为0.70和0.88。圈侧比丝侧牙面菌斑pH值有降低的趋势,差异无显著性。结论托槽粘接后周围菌斑的致龋性显著增强。提示医患双方在正畸治疗中加强对患者口腔卫生维护的重视。由于使用弹力结扎圈侧牙面菌斑产酸能力比结扎丝侧有增强的趋势,提示正畸医生在使用前者时应更加强对患者口腔卫生维护的指导。
Objective The purpose of this study was to evaluate the changes in acidogensis capability of the dental plaque after brackets bonding and ligated with two materials. Methods Twenty- three patients undergoing fixed appliance treatment were randomly selected. Ligature wire and elastomeric rings were applied on one side of arches, stochastically. The ion - selected microelectrode was used to measure pH value of the dental plaque. The results were compared between the two materials. Results A statistically significant decrease in the plaque pH was observed after the bonding ( P〈0. 001). Although there was a trend that the pH value decreased more in the plague on the teeth ligated by elastomeric rings than that by the ligature wire, no statistically difference was found. Conclusion The findings suggest that the cariogenicity in the surrounding plaque is increased after the bonding. Both orthodontists and patients should understand the importance to keep a oral hygiene of patients during the treatment. Orthodontists should reinforce the oral hygience guidance to the patients whose teeth was ligated by the elastomeric rings.
