摘要
PVM是一个针对网络并行计算而发展起来的软件包,主要用于科学计算领域。但实际上,借助于PVM内部的共享信息库机制,可以很方便地进行网络Olient/Server模式的编程。本文在讨论了Socket网络编程界面的复杂性以后,详细探讨了如何用PVM来进行Client/Server模式的网络编程方法。
PVM is software package oriented to network parallel computing, which mainly used in science and engineering computing field. However, it is convenient to use in Client/Server mode network programming by using its shared information base. In this paper, we first disscuss the difficulty of socket programming, then discribe how to use PVM to program Client/Server mode network application.
