2004年新疆劳教所部分吸毒者艾滋病知识知晓及行为调查

Analysis of HIV/AIDS Related Knowledge Awareness and Behavior of Drug Users in Reeducation-through-labour Sites of Xinjiang

目的了解新疆劳教场所中吸毒人员艾滋病知识知晓情况及行为特征情况。方法在劳教场所吸毒人员中抽查249名吸毒人员,调查其人口学特征、吸毒方式和频率、口吸和静脉吸毒时间、共用注射器的情况、性行为特征和安全套的使用情况等。结果249名被调查者开始吸毒年龄最小为12岁,最大32岁,初次口吸和静脉注射吸毒的平均年龄分别为21.5岁和23.2岁,口吸平均时间为5.5年,口吸到静脉注射吸毒的平均时间为1.6年;静脉注射吸毒平均时间为5.26年;共用注射器情况较少;性生活中全程使用安全套仅占14.36%,从未使用安全套者多达56.91%。结论加强宣传教育活动,让青少年远离毒品,减少吸毒者共用注射器吸毒的危险行为,仍须加强安全套的推广力度。

Objective To understand HIV/AIDS related knowledge awareness and behavior characteristics of drug users in reeducation - through - labour sites of Xinjiang. Methods Two hundred and forty - nine drug users from reeducation - through - labour sites were selected as the subject of the study, to make an investigation on their demographic characteristics, the way and frequency of drug use, duration of sucking and injecting drug, status of needle sharing, behavior characteristics of sex and condom using, etc. Results Among the selected 249 drug users, the initial age of using drug was from 12 to 32 years old ; the initial age of sucking and injecting drug was 21.54 and 23.16 years old on average, respectively; the duration for sucking drug and injecting drug was 5.49 and 5.26 years＇time, respectively, needles sharing behavior before entering sites 1 month reduced comparing with the initial drug using, and the time from the initial age of sucking to injecting drug was 1.57 years on average; During the last 3 months, 181 of drug users had sexual intercourse （72.98%） , 160 of those had regular sexual partners（ 66.30% ）, the proportion of those who were used to taking condom during the sexual intercourse was only 14.36%, those who never using was 56.91%. Conclusions It is observed that through a period of publicity and health education, the needles sharing behavior reduces apparently ; But the rate of condom using among IDUs is still very low. From now on, we should further enhance the activities on condom promotion.
